Batteries are consumable items so there is no warranty for de-shape of battery due to over temperature / overcharging.
Nominal capacity: The 100 Ah rating is often given at a specific discharge rate (for example the 20-hour rate). One spec sheet: “Nominal Capacity (20 HR 10.5V) 100Ah” for 12 V 100Ah maintenance-free.
Deep-cycle / discharge performance: If you plan to use it for solar backup, inverter load, etc., you’ll want one that tolerates deep discharge and has good recovery capability. Example: “excellent recovery from deep discharge” in a dry-charged 12 V-100Ah model.

Design life / cycle life / self-discharge: Higher quality batteries will specify years of design life, lower self-discharge rates, etc. E.g., ≤3% self-discharge per month for one model.

Size / weight / dimensions: 12 V-100Ah AGM/VRLA units tend to be heavy (often ~25-30 kg or more) and require space and strong mounting. For example one spec: ~29.2kg.

Installation & ventilation: Even sealed batteries may need adequate ventilation and safe installation (especially given weight and possible fumes during charging).
