The S/FTP double-shielding uses individually shielded twisted pairs plus an overall foil shield, helping reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. It also supports PoE, so compatible devices can receive power and data through the same Ethernet cable.
Important: The cable is capable of up to 40Gbps, but the actual speed depends on the Ethernet ports on your router, switch, PC/NIC, etc. For example, connecting it to a 1Gbps port will still give only 1Gbps.
For a 3-meter high-speed patch connection between a switch and server/NAS, router, PC, or other network equipment, this is a very good specification.
